Tricia Schimmel
A native of New York, Tricia earned her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University. Her professional journey working with children began in residential homes, with children aged 5 to 9. She later advanced to leadership roles, serving as Assistant Director at both a residential home for youth ages 12 to 17 and a family shelter, where she helped guide families through challenging transitions.
Tricia’s dedication to advocacy led her to become a Case Supervisor with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), advocating for the rights and well-being of children in need. Her path then brought her into the field of education, where she taught preschool in Arkansas and later worked in a support role in special education classrooms at a primary school in Georgia. Tricia’s passion for children and her commitment to their emotional and educational growth have remained at the heart of her work. In her spare time, Tricia finds joy in spending time with her husband and two children. She also enjoys gardening, reading, and running.
