Professionally, Rachel has over five years of experience in the early childhood field; this experience ranges from student intern to administration. She graduated from Penn State University in 2011 with a bachelor’s of science degree in Human Development and Family Studies, and a minor in Psychology. After graduation, she accepted a position at a local child care center where she was able to experience every part of working in a child care center. She has a true passion for fostering a child’s natural curiosity and for exploring their environment and learning through play. Any and every moment in an Infant/Toddler classroom is a teachable moment! When we allow the children to take the lead, we help foster their natural love for learning. She feels developing social and emotional skills at an early age gives a child the skills needed to succeed not only in their academic life, but in every aspect of their life.
