Lisa True

Lisa grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where she earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of California Davis and then married her high school sweetheart. After completing her teaching credential, she became a second grade teacher in California. When their first child was born, she took a break from teaching to stay at home with her kids and participate in their early childhood education. With two sons and a daughter on the way they moved to New Jersey and then to Pennsylvania in 2021. After moving to Pennsylvania, she went back to work as a Special Education paraprofessional and is now excited to be a part of the curiosity and wonder at Hort Woods. In her free time she enjoys hanging out with her family, baking, swimming, walking in the woods, wake surfing, and teaching yoga.
