Kenyth Sorensen

Kenyth earned her B.A. in History from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015. She discovered her passion for early childhood development shortly after graduating and began her career as a Toddler teacher at a private preschool in Northern Virginia. She has since provided care to children from infancy through early school age. Kenyth is especially passionate about the first 5 years of a child's development and believes that children are small philosophers and natural problem solvers. She enjoys making cultural connections between the children in her care, and sees trusted relationships as the cornerstone of her work. Often heard before she is seen, Kenyth loves singing, oral storytelling, and “sportscasting” her activities throughout the day to encourage early language development.
