Karina Trujillo Sanchez

Karina Trujillo Sanchez is originally from Chiapas Mexico and has a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College in New York City. She has worked as an early years childhood educator in New York City, Mexico, and in Manchester, England where she has been living for the last 8 years. Recently Karina, along with her husband and two daughters have decided to move to the State College area to be closer to family.

The foundation of Karina’s approach to working with early-years children is based on carefully listening, and responding to what the children have to say, in the process of providing a classroom environment where children feel loved and confident enough to explore their surroundings. Karina enjoys knitting and crocheting, reading, hiking, and practicing yoga.
