Isabella Messina
Isabella holds a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation and Human Services and has taught children’s cooking classes and camps for more than seven years, continuing to do so most weekends. She has always been passionate about teaching and enjoys creating fun, hands-on learning experiences and helping kids grow both in and out of the classroom.
When she’s not teaching, Isabella enjoys unwinding in the kitchen by baking, cooking, or trying out new recipes. She also loves catching PSU baseball games and spending time with her family, friends, and her two dogs, Sully and Scooby.
Isabella grew up in State College and even attended the Bennett Center as a child. She returned as an intern in fall 2024 and is thrilled to now be joining the teaching team. She can’t wait to get to know and support the children and families at the center.
