Caitlyn Ramirez

Cait graduated from Penn State University in 2018 with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and received her Master's in Education from Lock Haven University in the Spring of 2021. Cait has worked in childcare since her sophomore year at Penn State.  She then moved on to be the director of a preschool for over a year before returning to the classroom at Hort Woods in 2021. Cait believes in the importance of creating an individualized care plan for each child that honors their abilities and interests. Cait values the importance of creating strong bonds and trusting relationships with families so they can work together to support their child’s growth and development. Cait enjoys curriculum that focuses on music & movement, outdoor play, and social emotional learning.  “If a child can learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn” - Ignacio Estrada
