Butterfly Garden

Butterfly Garden welcomes your family to The Childcare Center at Hort Woods and look forward to teaming up with you to provide the best care and education for your child. The diversity of our classroom is what most strongly defines our teaching team as well as our community of families. Our days are made up of exploration, curiosity and motivation. Our teaching team brings a wide range of teaching and life experience to a collaborative and family-like environment for learning. We love going on excursions on campus and around town, to really live out our curriculum and sense the world around us. If you stopped by our room, you would see and hear gross motor activities along with music and literary activities happening throughout the day, as well as art offerings, sensory integration and routines and discussions that carry a strong home-school connection. In addition to providing daily care for your children, we believe that early childhood experiences are foundational to attitudes and ardor toward lifelong learning. We hope that our partnership with you yields a future of health, happiness and a passion for discovery for you and your child.
