Alex Fleck

Alex graduated from Methodist University in Fayetteville, North Carolina, with a bachelor's degree in Special Education. Educating and mentoring the youth is something that Alex has always had a passion for. Alex worked professionally with the Juniata Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America as a District Executive. Prior to becoming a District Executive, she was a Nature Director for the youth through Scouting. As Nature Director, she got to teach various merit badges. Some examples are, Insect Study, Environmental Science, Soil and Water Conservation, Bird Study, etc. With that being said, Alex loves to implement nature, crafts, and other hands-on activities into her curriculum. Alex believes to always strive for progress, not perfection. That is when the learning will take place.
