Rhea is originally from the Philippines. She earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science at the University of the Visayas, Philippines before moving here to State College in 2002. She earned her Pennsylvania Certification in PreK-4 Education through Penn State University in 2015. Rhea taught for three years in the State College area prior to joining us here the Bennett Family Center. Rhea is married and has two children and a dog named Sparky. She also loves reading, gardening, cross stitching, hiking and swimming with her family. She believes that children are individuals and each child is unique. It is a goal of hers to help all children unleash their full potential. She also uses collaborative learning in her approach to teaching. Rhea feels that it is her great privilege and pleasure to be working with your children.
