Darlene has a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Human Development from Penn State and has been working at the Bennett Center since September, 2010. She has worked with children in different types of settings for more than 25 years and has this experience to bring to the classroom. Darlene believes that every child is an individual and we as “teachers” need to make the opportunities available for them so they can become and experience all that they want to be. She truly feels there is nothing more exciting than to witness than when a child accomplishes something that they have been working towards mastering. The happy face and sparkle in their eyes make this job so special. Darlene enjoys boating, reading, and watching Penn State and Pittsburgh football with her family.
