Sea of Discovery

The Sea of Discovery is an Infant/Toddler mixed age group classroom consisting of children between the ages of 6 weeks and 3 years. We focus on discovery and do so through all of our senses. The children are exposed to new learning experiences through hands on activities which engage our children in a variety of activities that encourage exploration and sensory processing. We promote early learning and independence as the children are exposed to new ideas, concepts and activities every day. When planning our activities, we observe the children and focus on their interests, wants and needs.

We also spend a great deal of time outdoors exploring our campus community and occasionally even visit parents at their work sites on campus. We spend a great deal of time promoting and building strong relationships with the children and their families. We provide a safe and positive learning environment for the children as they use this world of “discovery” to conquer developmental milestones.
