Misty Woods received her undergraduate degree from Mount Holyoke College in Psychobiology (similar to Penn State's Bio-behavioral Health) in 1989. She also earned a M.Ed. in early childhood special education from the University of Washington in 1993. She has over 25 years of teaching experience, and has worked in a variety of settings with infants and toddlers, preschoolers and kindergarteners. She has spent her career in inclusive education settings and is passionate about supporting the needs of diverse learners. Misty currently coaches the Hort Woods teaching team in PBIS implementation, as well as supporting the integration and training of students in our emergent curriculum practices.
